Rhyodacitic lavas of Nisyros with inclusions (14)
These outcrop at the NE rim of the caldera as well as at the E – NE slopes of the volcano. These are rhyodacitic flows with the characteristic presence of a high percentage of inclusions (10-20%), mainly of andesitic magma, ranging 0.1-15cm in diameter.
