Neolithic communities in Yali Remnants of Neolithic communities have been found at several sites on Yali. The best preserved one is located atop the SW hill of the islet. These are the foundations of a structure the purpose of which was probably a dwelling of cattle breeders and farmers in the Neolithic age.
