Lower dacitic lava of Nisyros (21)
They are present on the NE caldera cliff, above the lower basic volcaniclastics.
These are 2-3 flows of ash-colored aphyric dacitic lava, approximately 40m thick.
Spectacular dykes feeding these lava flows are evident at the NE cliffs of the caldera, along the main road.
